Hi, I'm Riva Jain (she/her). I blend together deep skillsets in backend development and design/communications, building systems with not only technical knowledge, but an understanding of what draws users back to an experience.

My best engineering work includes fine-tuning LLMs to reduce racial bias and building a full-stack agentic personal finance platform. I also enjoy working as a designer, event photographer, and copywriter for the Academy of Integrated Science at Virginia Tech.

I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) and am open to work.
